    19 Years of Age   Date of Death: 7/5/2020 City of Murder:  Wilmington, California  Los Angeles Police Department - South Bureau Detective Ricardo Feria Detective Sauced (323) 630-6879 REWARD $50,000   Daniel Felipe Delgado, a 19-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, July 5, 2020, near East Pacific Coast Highway and Drumm Avenue in Wilmington, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.   About 1:45 a.m., Delgado was driving a burgundy Honda Accord on East Pacific Coast Highway and made a left onto Drumm Avenue, said Los Angeles Police Officer Jeffrey Tiffin. Delgado, who was with two others. Another vehicle, possibly a dark-colored sedan, followed behind him and a person inside shot at Delgado’s car from behind, Tiffin said. Delgado was struck and taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Delgado was driving his friend home from a Fourth of July gathering, police said. It’s unclear what prompted the shooting. Derrick Alfred (323) 890-5554   Chloe Marie Corona, a 28-year-old black woman, was fatally shot on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in the 44000 block of Cedar Avenue in Lancaster, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner records.   Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies went to a home on Cedar Avenue after their office received a 911 hang-up call regarding a possible gunshot victim at 2:10 a.m., said Lt. Derrick Alfred. When deputies arrived they found the front door to the house open and several people standing outside waiting, Alfred said. The deputies found Corona lying on the living room floor, Alfred said. She was pronounced dead at the 2:30 a.m., according to coroner's records.   The cause of death was listed as multiple gunshot wounds. Corona lived a few miles away and investigators don't know why she was at the house on Cedar Avenue, Alfred said. A man who said he lived alone in the house told investigators he was in another room when he heard gunshots and found Corona lying on the floor. The people who were standing outside were detained for questioning and then released, Alfred said. "They're not being very cooperative," he said, "so we don't know the relationship between her and the people at the house, and we don't have a description of the shooter."   Anyone with information on the matter is asked to call the Sheriff's Department Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.     24 Years of Age Date of Death: 1/30/2012 City of Murder: Wilmington, California   Los Angeles Police Department - Harbor Division Lieutenant Zamora Sergeant Richard Gabaldon Officer Rayner   Gabriel Castillo, a 24-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Monday, January 30, 2012 near Mauretania Street and Watson Avenue in Wilmington, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records. Castillo & Carlos Regalado, a 27-year-old Latino, and a third person were reported down after multiple gunshots were fired late Monday, not far from a junkyard.   The Los Angeles Police Department said Castillo and Regalado were pronounced dead at the scene. The third victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.   It was unclear what sparked the violence, but investigators at the scene were exploring possible gang connections. Officer Karen Rayner told the Daily Breeze, "Three people were walking down the street when they were shot by someone in a car.”   “The suspects in the shooting were described as two young male Hispanics, driving a white, four-door, compact sport utility-type vehicle," said Sgt. Richard Gabaldon of the Harbor division.     34 Years of Age Date Of Death: 1/13/2017 City of Murder:  Pomona, California   Pomona Police Department (909) 620-2085   Lavelle Deshawn Brown, a 34-year-old black man, was shot to death Friday, January 13, 2017 in the 2200 block of Larchmont Street in Pomona, according to coroner’s records.  About 11 a.m., Pomona police responded to a call about a shooting in the area, Sgt. Brian Hagerty said. The officers saw a sedan in a frontyard, and Brown and  Corin Michella Hensley, 25 , were inside with multiple gunshot wounds, Hagerty said.  Brown was pronounced dead at 11:31 a.m.; Hensley died minutes earlier, according to coroner’s records.  Hagerty said Brown was driving the vehicle near the intersection of Larchmont Street and Collingswood Drive when a dark-colored sedan pulled alongside. A gunman then opened fire, striking Brown and Hensley. As the gunman’s car sped away, Brown’s vehicle accelerated forward then stopped on a front lawn, Hagerty said.  Police are pursuing all leads and looking for witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to call the Pomona Police Department at (909) 622-1241 or (909) 620-2085. Roberts (213) 486-6814 31595@lapd.lacity.online   Detective Luis Romero (818) 571-8218 30372@lapd.online   Melody Ann Brewer, a 17-year-old white female, died Monday, Jan. 31, after being shot in San Pedro, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.   Los Angeles police detectives said Melody Brewer was never believed to be the intended target of the January 31, 2000 homicide in San Pedro.   LAPD Detective Paul Inabu said they knew a man had walked up to the car and sprayed it with bullets. The man sitting in the driver’s seat wasn’t struck by a single round. But Brewer took nine shots to her body. She died at the scene, too. Inabu said she, Melody, was in the wrong place at the wrong time.   It was the first double-homicide of Inabu’s career, and he remembered the sheer number of bullet casings at the scene. He said the detectives knew quickly Brewer was an innocent bystander. They even though they might have a good lead on who pulled the trigger.

  • D'ANCEE "SAY SAY" NATHANIEL BARNES

    4 Years of Age Date of Death: 3/18/1989 City of Murder: Carson, California   Los ANgeles Police Department - South Bureau Traffic (323) 421-2500 Detective  S. Smith Detective Investigator R. Mendoza   At approximately 8:55 PM on March 18, 1989 a motorist in a 1974-1985 2-door white or light brown Cadillac traveling north on Van Ness Avenue towards Gage Avenue collided into three-year-old D’Ancee Barnes as he ran into the roadway.   The motorist, described as being a 32–34-year-old black female with black hair, approximately 5’6” tall and weighing 110-120 pounds, stopped momentarily before continuing northbound on Van Ness Avenue.   Barnes sustained severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he later died. The motorist was never identified.   The LAPD South Traffic Division is asking that anyone with information regarding this incident to please call detective S. Smith or Investigator R. Shruggs Detective Sid Rodriguez Case No. 07-05-01388   On Saturday, October 13, 2007 at approximately 11:25 p.m. after finishing a full day of work, Daniel got a ride to his cousin's birthday party at his Aunt's house on Blinn Avenue, in Wilmington. His ride dropped him off on the corner of Blinn Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway leaving Daniel to walk a couple of blocks while still wearing his reflective work vest.   In the 1400 block of Blinn Avenue, Daniel was approached by his murderer. His family heard the gun shot and went out front to make sure the children playing in the yard were safe. His cousin was attending medical school so she approached the body lying on the curb to see if she could help before paramedics showed up. His face was covered with blood so she didn't recognize her cousin until she saw his ID.   Daniel was transported to UCLA-Harbor General where he died a few hours later.     25 Years of Age Date of Death: 8/22/2019 City of Murder: Detroit, Michigan   Detroit Police Department ( 313) 267-4600   DETROIT (FOX 2) - Two families of young murder victims came together Wednesday to make a plea for justice.  Brandi Brown and her friend DeAnte Clark were both shot and killed in August. A third person was also shot but survived their injuries. The gunmen escaped.  Families make Crime Stoppers plea for 2 young people murdered in August.  Now these grieving families are praying that anyone with information will understand their pain and provide information to police.  "Her life was stolen. Stolen. She had a future," said the father of Brandi Brown.  The shooting happened at a home in the 18000 block of Robson at 2:30 a.m. Two suspects got away in a dark-colored SUV.   "I know a lot of people know things because everyone is talking and there is a lot of different things that have been said," said Freda Davis, the mother of DeAnte Clark. "And whoever you are, you two will not get away with this. You will be caught."  "How can we say that we love Detroit, (that) we all have got each other's back, that we're all family, but yet we're still out here killing each other," Brown's father said.  Her family says Brown loved to dance and mentor young people. Clark had four sons but his mother says he saw everyone as family.  "He took homeless friends in to keep them off the streets," Davis said.   Now, these grieving families are praying that anyone with information will understand their pain and provide information to police.

I never thought we would be doing this, but on 12/26/2023 my son's brother, Jeffrey, was taken from our lives at a young age due to street violence. We would like to ask the public, family and friends to help us put Wendy’s son to rest and give him the viewing and funeral he deserves. May you rest in peace, little Jeffrey, we love you with all of our hearts. You will truly be missed.

    19 Years of Age Date of Death: 12/6/1995 City of Murder: San Pedro, California Los Angeles Police Department South Bureau Division Reginald known to his family as “sweet and low” was an only child. He was born on July 26, 1976 at 3:59 pm at Jackson Park Hospital on the south side of Chicago. Reginald loved hamburgers, swimming, music, dancing, talking on the phone and laughing. That was his life and he did it every day of his life. He loved to swim. He was like a fish in the water. His favorite song was “The time of my life” from the move Dirty Dancing. He could dance his butt off and he was very light on his feet. The telephone was just an extension of his hand and ear. He loved to laugh, had the prettiest smile, and he was totally laid back. CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE MURDER Reginald was murdered 12/6/95 in the city of San Pedro at the age of 19, he was not married and had no children. His body was found across the street from Todd Ship yard in a vacant lot with multiple gun shot wounds. Those responsible for his murder have never been caught. I believe those responsible for his murder has killed again in other cities and I have met their parents.

    39 Years of Age Date of Death: 8/21/2015 City of Murder: Pasadena, California Pasadena Police Department Lieutenant Terysa Rojas Detective Diego Torres (626) 744-4517 Monte Russell, a 39-year-old black man, was fatally shot Friday, Aug. 21, 2016 in the 1700 block of East Washington Boulevard in Pasadena, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.  Around 5:30 p.m., Pasadena police responded to a shooting call near a row of stores. They found Russell lying in the parking lot of the shopping area, a news release said.
