Carlos was out with friends during the morning of Feb 24, 1991 getting food at a local food truck in Glassell Park. He was 20 at the time and had spent the night with friends when they decided to go get some food. At some point while there a man came and became angry with Carlos. There has never been clear details about what happened - but we were told that Carlos was looking toward the man and the man became angry - left and came back with a gun and shot my him and one of the friends he was with. He was shot in the aorta and died at the hospital at LAMC ER.
The case was never solved and remains a cold case.
